Ball bearings

Designed to withstand combined loads and high speeds, made from high quality materials with special heat treatments, and low-maintenance in service.

• Deep groove ball bearings — open and closed (shielded or sealed) designs. The general-purpose bearing: radial load plus axial load in both directions, high speed, low friction.
• Angular contact ball bearings — single row, double row and four-point contact. Angled raceways carry heavy combined radial and axial load.

Spherical roller bearings

Engineered to withstand high radial forces and moderate axial forces acting in both directions, and to dynamically accommodate misalignment caused by shaft bending — RKB's largest and most heavily engineered segment.

Cylindrical roller bearings

Extremely high radial load capacity with improved internal geometry. Line contact between roller and raceway, and a separable design that lets one ring float axially.

• Cylindrical or tapered bore, caged or cageless

Tapered roller bearings

Engineered to withstand combined radial and thrust loads, from high hardness materials giving fatigue strength and wear resistance under severe operating conditions.

Thrust bearings

Designed to support high axial loads and, in some designs, moderate radial loads. Available in single and double direction, with flat or sphered housing washers.

• Thrust ball bearings — pure axial load at moderate speed
• Cylindrical roller thrust — high axial capacity, low section height
• Tapered roller thrust — very heavy axial load and high stiffness
• Spherical roller thrust — heavy axial load with self-alignment
